If you think you may have COVID 19, please do not go to a GP Surgery, Pharmacy or hospital; use the NHS 111 on line service @ https://111.nhs.uk/Covid-19 to find out what to do next.
The practice staff including the doctors are continuing to provide care by offering Telephone consultations ONLY during surgery times of Mon – Friday 08:00 hours – 18:30 hours!
If you have new cough or temperature higher than 37.8 degrees centigrade, stay at home and do not leave your house for seven days from when your symptoms started. If your symptoms worsen during home isolation, or are no better after seven days, use the NHS 111 online service or call 111.
London Ambulance Service and our local hospitals are extremely busy. Please support our staff by only calling 999 in an emergency. If you feel unwell and it is not an emergency please call your GP. If your GP isn’t open and it is urgent please visit nhs.uk/111 online or phone 111. They will able to guide you to where you can get help or book you in to see a GP.

Welcome to our practice!
We are a forward thinking yet traditional family practice that aims to deliver continuity of care to our patients. We have been based in City and Hackney for over 30 years. The practice team operate from 2 sites based on Southgate road, N1 and also in St Leonards Hospital, E2 (previously on Whiston road). Our patients can be seen at either site.
We offer the following services:
Urgent and routine GP appointments
Evening clinics with pre-booked appointments until 7.15pm on Mondays,
Practice nurses, for blood taking, cervical smears, chronic disease reviews and travel advice.
Health care assistant
- Baby clinic
- Practice Nurse led contraceptive advice, prescribing and monitoring
- Heart failure Nurse
Diabetes specialist nurse twice per week
Social prescribing' advisor for socially isolated people
If you wish to access any of these services, please feel free to speak to one of our reception staff or doctors who will be able to advise you further, as you may require a referral.
